The Synopsis
This one-act play follows four characters who represent the inner most thoughts inside a teenager’s mind. Instead of big dramatic events, it focuses on the quiet and deep feelings young people carry but rarely say out loud.
Through conversations and small moments, they express worries about life and the pressure to have everything figured out when you don’t have to at that age. Each character shows a different side of the same mind — overthinking, self-doubt, hope and love— highlighting how confusing growing up can really feel sometimes.
As they talk, the audience recognises everyday experiences like replaying conversations, wondering what people think of you, and trying to work out who you really are. Regrets are talked about to show that we do make mistakes in our lives and that it’s okay to do so as long as you learn from them and move on.
Nothing major happens physically, but emotionally a lot changes between characters throughout. The play aims to feel honest, showing that these thoughts are normal and that no one is alone in feeling them.
