Tia Rani Rae
As the founder of the theatre company, Tia has had a passion for the performing arts from a very young age. She began her journey dancing from the age of two and a half and then acting and singing from the age of four and a half. Over the years, Tia have gained a wide range of experience across different areas of the performing arts, including performing in Stagecoach shows, being part of other dance shows, studying GCSE Dance and completing A-Level Performing and Production Arts. These experiences have given Tia the opportunity to develop her skills, confidence and understanding of performance, while also strengthening her passion for creating opportunities for others to explore and develop their her own talents within the performing arts.
Tia is an young emerging playwright and performing arts practitioner with much passion and drive to have my own business thrive and influence and inspire young creatives lives. Her writing explores the complexities of growing up, identity, relationships, emotions and the inner conversations we often keep to ourselves. Tia began developing her first play over the last four years, drawing on her experiences, observations and extensive writing work undertaken during college. Her work focuses on honest, relatable emotions and the different voices that can exist within one person’s mind. [Half Said Things] is her first completed play and marks the beginning of her journey as a playwright, with a passion for creating work that encourages audiences to reflect, connect and feel less alone.
